YIKES!! Those are some SCARY pictures! I would be in bed with the covers over my head. Either that or pacing! There are just so many more tornadoes lately, you never know...
Hi Ma :) I wonder what kind of clouds those were? They weren't aspiratus or mamatus clouds....very powerful and majestic looking. Day before yesterday we had aspiratus clouds here, I noticed them while I was driving to work. Tonight the clouds were beautiful on the way home. I stopped at a grocery store and before going in I snapped a few pictures. We'll see how they turn out. I'll see if I can remember how to load them into my computer.
Southern California doesn't get the weather that the rest of the lower 48 gets. Rain is pretty rare and thunderstorms are much rarer. Snow is non-existent. The "jet stream rides over the top and high pressure keeps most of the clouds away. This week has been a dense marine layer (high fog) off the Pacific Ocean. But sure like every season, God's green earth and nature's paintings in the sky that the Lord give us.
Great shots, Ma!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. When I look at photos like that it just makes me marvel at just how wonderful God's creations are. Amazing.

Looks like the clouds could do most anything. I trust it was rain you needed and gentle enough to do some good.

ReplyDeleteI would love to see your cloud capture. I think these were probably just regular ol' storm clouds, but they were really awesome, indeed.
